Device demonstrates how location of the center of gravity changes depending on mass and number of people standing on the platform – and how to move the center of gravity so that the system is balanced.
Phenomenon
Position of the platform depends on the center of gravity of the whole system. If the center of gravity is located in the middle of the platform, it stays in a horizontal position.
How to use it
Get on the platform. Try to position yourself so that the platform stays horizontal. All changes in your position should take place slowly and in a coordinated manner.
