PULL-UP

special projects

Description of the device

Device demonstrates how an elevator powered by human muscles works. Lift with visible constructional elements consists among others of a seat, a counterweight and a rope that enables elevating the seat. Pulling on the rope that hangs alongside the lift, a person in the seat can uplift themselves all the way to the top of the shaft using just the strength of their muscles.

This exhibit will be a valuable element of educational exhibitions and spaces dedicated to mechanics and the idea of simple machines. Setting several lifts next to each other adds the element of fun and competition, allowing users to race to the top.
